Louisa supports nurses

Louisa Hope was treated at the Prince of Wales Hospital after the traumatic siege at Lindt café in December 2014.

Louisa sustained a major injury to her foot and spent the next three months in hospital.

Three months is long time to be away from home, family and friends, and in hospital bed. But because of her wonderful personality, warmth and caring for others, she became a very popular patient.

So much is her caring for others—even after all she had been through—Louisa now wants to make a difference to those who treated her every day.

“Nurses go above and beyond their day to day work and understand the true needs of their patients,” Louisa said.

Louisa decided she wanted to give back and has set up a fund at the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation to support the work and needs of nurses.

Louisa is making a difference and so are YOU too, by supporting the Foundation through this Prize Home Lottery program. Every ticket you purchase supports our patients, just like Louisa, and for that we send you a sincere thank you.
